SALEM SELECT
Our Salem Select teams participate in league play through the
St. Louis Youth Soccer Association
(SLYSA). The St. Louis Youth Soccer Association was founded in 1975 and incorporated as a non profit organization in 1976. SLYSA operates competitive soccer leagues for boys and girls, ages 6 to 19; the major objective of the organization is to develop, promote, and provide top level competition for youth soccer in the greater St. Louis area. Over time. t
he league has grown from 500 youth players to over 15,000 boys and girls representing over 1,000 teams. Salem Select competes with teams within their assigned divisions. SLYSA has developed teams to win Regional and National Championships, and have also furnished colleges, US National, World Cup, professional and amateur teams in many parts of the country and world with outstanding players that started their soccer careers with this organization.
Salem Select currently has three teams actively competing in the SLYSA program:
Salem Select U14 Girls- 2012G Division 2
Salem Select U12 Girls- 2014G Division 5
Salem Select U12 Boys- 2014B Division 9
